The RU Office of Financial Aid located in Martin Hall, Room 225, is the clearing-house for information about a variety of different scholarships, both need-based and merit-based. In February of each year this office distributes a brochure describing these scholarships and providing application criteria and procedures. The deadline for submitting applications for these scholarships is in mid-March. In addition to the scholarships available in the brochure described above, each spring the Department of Interior Design and Fashion awards merit-based scholarships funded by the Arts Society. Students who have already completed at least nine credit hours after declaring a major in the department, and who meet the minimal GPA requirements (at least 3.2 in the major and 2.8 overall) are eligible to apply for the ID&F Arts Society scholarship. Beginning in February, application forms are available from the Administrative Assistant in the departmental office in McGuffey 211. The deadline for submitting these applications is also in mid-March.
